1. Assigned duties 🫡: The instructor organizes Thai language lessons for Indonesian or international students at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta University (UNY) who voluntarily attend and are interested in Thai. The class schedule of Thai is twice a week. Teaching time 14.30-16 10 am for 2 months is a team internship. Three people work together. They must provide teaching, content and teaching materials 1-3 days in advance. And send them to Indonesian friends who work together to make posters to help coordinate and persuade participants.
2. Apprenticeship: An apprenticeship with a Thai culinary training group, which is Buloi. This time was assigned to teach Buloi food vocabulary, both color and raw materials used to do it, as well as explain how to do it briefly before tasting the actual food from the Thai culinary apprenticeship group, and was coached with a Thai skit training group. The vocabulary was taught in the lyrics of Thai skits, namely, Mon Hide and Rhee Rice, so that the learner can understand the lyrics of the skit more and apply it to practice or play with the Thai skit apprentice group that provided the skit. During teaching, it is an event for students and work together.
3. Offsite Apprenticeship: Assigned to teach animal vocabulary at SMPN 1 Junior High School, where introduction in Thai and numbering in additional Thai is taught to Indonesian junior high school students, and participating students can try to speak, try to speak, introduce, read numbers, and animals in Thai according to the content taught.
Working society: Indonesian friends who work together are very friendly, always helping, including the teacher who takes good care and snaban as well as ending the internship. It is considered a very good working society. 🥰
The benefit of this apprenticeship is to use more Indonesian and English. Speaking in front of a room or in front of a class in front of a lot of people gives you training and experience in speaking skills. From before being somewhat embarrassed when speaking in front of a lot of people, you have more confidence, you have practiced problem-solving, you have systematically practiced teamwork, and you have practiced the planning of the work.
