Raising Kids With Jesus At The Center✝️

Rise Kingdom Mother's!

Being a Christian mom in today’s world isn’t for the faint of heart. I’m raising two beautiful souls, my sweet 8-year-old daughter and my 14-year-old teenage son, and every day I realize more and more how much I need Jesus to lead me in this journey. Our home isn’t perfect, but it is built on the foundation of faith. Jesus is number one here. Every decision we make, how we love, how we discipline, how we speak, and what we allow into our lives, it all flows from our relationship with Him.

Raising my daughter in a world that’s constantly trying to tell her who and what she should be is hard. But I remind her every day that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, created with purpose, and deeply loved by her Creator. I want her to grow up confident not because of her appearance or achievements but because she knows who she is in Christ. I want her to be bold, gentle, and strong in her faith—unafraid to stand out in a world that doesn’t always honor the light within her. My son—my firstborn—is learning to navigate life as a young man. The pressures on boys his age are real. Social media, peer pressure, the world’s definition of success, and masculinity it’s a lot. But I pray for him constantly. That he walks in wisdom and truth, that he learns to turn to Jesus when he’s unsure, and that he sees his worth not through the lens of the world, but through the eyes of his Heavenly Father. As a mom, I’ll be honest. Some days, I feel like I’m messing it all up. There are moments I lose my patience, say the wrong thing, or feel completely worn down. But I’ve learned that I don’t have to be a perfect mom. I just need to be a faithful one. I need to keep showing up, keep praying, keep loving, and keep pointing my kids to the One who holds it all together. I’ve learned to surrender the parts I can’t control and trust that God is working in my children even when I can’t see it. I’ve seen His grace carry me through the hardest days, and His joy shows up in the smallest moments.

If you’re a Christian mama reading this, this is your reminder: you’re not alone. God sees every sacrifice, every prayer, every late night, and every tear. Keep planting those seeds of faith. Keep showing your children what it means to follow Jesus. You may not see the harvest yet, but God is faithful.

Let’s raise these babies to be world changers, light bearers, and Kingdom builders. All for His glory.✝️🙌🏼🫶🏼👑

... Read moreRaising children in a faith-based environment can be both rewarding and challenging. Many parents seek ways to instill values and confidence in their kids. Studies suggest that children who understand their identity rooted in faith are often more resilient and capable of handling life’s pressures. As Christian mothers navigate the complexities of modern parenting, they often rely on community support and prayer as essential tools. Fostering open communication with children can help them articulate their feelings and experiences, especially when outside influences can be confusing. Encouraging qualities like kindness, courage, and a sense of purpose are vital. Parents are inspired to model these characteristics, demonstrating how faith can powerably intersect with daily life. Creating traditions and memories strengthens bonds within families while reinforcing faith-driven principles. Regularly engaging in discussions about faith, purpose, and resilience equips kids to face societal challenges confidently. As families share in faith-based activities, the teachings from scripture become integral to daily living, affirming their convictions in today's fast-paced society. By prioritizing a life centered on Christ, mothers cultivate an environment where children are motivated to shine as leaders and spread positivity in their communities. Emphasizing the importance of endurance during tough days, let’s remind ourselves that perfection isn't the goal; faithfulness is. Encouragement, love, and unwavering support anchor our parenting journey, urging us to raise children who are not only believers but also change-makers in a complex world.
