🫶✨The Little Things✨🫶
🩷 Hey, family! Welcome back to the written podcast of Jesus & Family. Oh, how I’ve missed this space.
📝 Format
Readable podcast episode (for notes, journaling, or devotion time) let's dig in.
Sometimes life comes at us loud. There's chaos, noise, schedules, laundry, bills, work, parenting, and we find ourselves searching for something big to hold onto. But lately, God has been whispering something sweet to my heart, “It’s the little things.”
The little things matter to Him. And they should matter to us.
It's in the way the sun comes through the kitchen window while we make breakfast.
It's in the giggle from our child when we tickle their side just right.
It's in the unexpected “I love you” text from your spouse or friend.
It's in that quiet moment in your car when you pause and just say, “Thank You, Lord.”
Sometimes, the world teaches us to chase more to be fulfilled. More success, more money, more followers, more perfection. But God? God teaches us to find joy in less. In the humble. In the still. In the unnoticed. In the “little.”
Jesus was born in a stable, the most little of places, yet He changed everything.
He washed feet, the most lowly of acts, yet He taught us love.
He fed people with a few fish and loaves, the most modest meal, yet He showed us miracles.
🤗 So today, I want to remind you. You don’t have to have it all together. You don’t have to wait for the next big thing. God is already here, tucked in all the little things.
🌼 Let this episode be your permission to slow down. Breathe, Smile, Look around.
🤔 What are your little things?
Your child’s eyelashes.
That worship song on the radio.
A warm cup of coffee and a few minutes with Jesus before the day starts.
🙌🏼✝️ Today, rejoice in them. Thank Him for them. And let your heart be reminded that He is in every single detail.
