It feels like just yesterday my adorable gray cat, Carl, was a tiny kitten, and now he's officially three years old! Time truly flies when you're having fun with your furry best friend. Carl is a constant source of joy and laughter in our home, always full of playful energy and surprising antics. Just this morning, I caught him peeking out from inside the closet, a favorite spot of his, looking like he owned the place! It's these little moments that make being a pet parent so incredibly rewarding. Carl, being a boy cat, has always had a wonderfully mischievous yet affectionate personality. He loves to explore every nook and cranny, which explains his fascination with closets, shelves, and any box he can squeeze into. I've learned that this is quite common for cats; tight spaces make them feel secure and safe, almost like a cozy den. As he's grown, his playfulness hasn't diminished. He still chases laser pointers and pounces on feather wands with the same enthusiasm he had as a kitten. His sleek gray fur makes him look quite distinguished, even when he's being a complete goofball. Celebrating Carl's third birthday has me reflecting on all the wonderful adventures we've had.
