「好きな本って何？」って聞かれたとき、私はいつも一瞬フリーズします。好きな本はたくさんあるのに、“相手が求めてる答え”に合わせようとして、急に言葉が出てこなくなるんですよね。なので最近は、迷わないために「答えの型」を用意しています。 私がよく使うのは3パターンです。 ①気分で選ぶ：落ち込んだとき／背中を押してほしいとき／集中したいとき、みたいに状況別に1冊ずつ。 ②テーマで選ぶ：「言語化が苦手」「習慣を作りたい」「お金の仕組みを知りたい」など、悩み別に。 ③エピソードで選ぶ：読んだあとに行動が変わった本を1冊。いちばん説得力が出ます。 この投稿のラインナップで言うと、②と③に強いのが『忙しい人に読んでもらえる文章術』でした。SNSでも仕事のメールでも、「最後まで読まれない」問題ってありますよね。私もアウトプットを続ける中で、伝えたいことが増えるほど文章が長くなりがちでした。 この本で特に意識するようになったのは、 ・最初に結論（何が言いたいか）を置く ・1文を短くする ・1段落1メッセージにする ・相手の“読む目的”を先回りする みたいな基本の徹底です。地味だけど効きます。 そして「好きな本」を答えるときも同じで、相手は“あなたの読書遍歴”を全部知りたいわけじゃなくて、「どんな人か」が一瞬で伝わる一冊が知りたいことが多い気がします。だから私は、最後にひと言だけ添えるようにしています。 例： 「習慣を変えたい時は『3週間続ければ一生が変わる』。行動を後押ししてくれた本です」 「言葉に詰まりやすいから『すごい言語化』を読み返してます」 こんな感じで“自分の文脈”を足すと、会話も自然に広がりました。年末年始の駆け込み読書で1冊手に取ったら、ぜひ「誰にどうおすすめするか」まで考えてみてください。次に「好きな本は？」と聞かれたとき、答えがスッと出るようになります。
