Pt 2 Apple notes
Here’s a quick video showing how I linked the dashboard to a couple notes so I can get back to the dashboard quickly. #applenotes
From my experience using Apple Notes for managing both personal and professional tasks, linking your dashboard to key notes can significantly improve your productivity and organization. I started by creating a centralized dashboard note that acts like a hub, where I link to various notes such as my daily planning routine, weekly planning templates, and even Bible study highlights. I found including tags like #braindump or #notetoself in relevant notes helped me locate them quickly using Apple Notes’ search function, which complements the dashboard linking. For example, when I plan my day or jot down important reminders like car repair estimates or meal recipes, the dashboard provides a one-click shortcut to these notes without sifting through folders. To set this up, I use the hyperlink feature inside Apple Notes, which allows me to create clickable links in my dashboard note. It's a simple process: just right-click the note you want to link and copy the note’s link, then paste it into your dashboard note. This way, even complex collections like monthly checklists or daily verses are right at my fingertips. In addition, organizing notes into categories like Morning/Eve Routines, or by themes such as "Spiritual Reflections" or "Food Favorites," improves clarity and workflow. Regularly updating and pruning the dashboard keeps it relevant and clutter-free. Overall, linking a dashboard to your Apple Notes can transform your note-taking experience, making it more dynamic and accessible. It’s especially helpful for those who manage multiple projects or like having quick access to frequently referenced notes. I encourage you to try this method and modify it according to your personal workflow for enhanced daily planning and organization.
