✨ShAdOw✨🫶

🌙 Today's card was The Shadow... and whew. 😅🖤

If I'm being honest, I don't think God keeps bringing these kinds of cards into my life because He wants me to focus on what's "wrong" with me. 🙏🤍 I think He's reminding me that the parts of myself I've buried are the exact places He wants to bring healing. 🌱✨

For so much of my life, I thought spirituality meant becoming more peaceful, more patient, more loving... 🕊️💛 And while those things absolutely matter, I've realized something else...

✨ You can't heal what you pretend doesn't exist. ✨

💔 My anger. 😔 My fears. 🤍 My insecurities. 🌧️ The moments I doubt myself. 🫶 The pieces of me I'd rather hide.

They're all part of my story. 📖❤️

🖤 The Jackal in this card doesn't run from the shadows—it walks straight through them. 🐺🌑 And maybe that's what I've been learning lately. Every time I stop pretending I have it all together and bring the messy parts of myself to God instead... something shifts. 🙌✨🤍

I've noticed that every breakthrough in my spiritual journey has come after I was willing to face something uncomfortable. 🌿💫 Not because the darkness had power over me... but because bringing it into the light took its power away. ☀️🕊️

And honestly... sometimes shadow work looks a lot less mystical than people think. 😂💁‍♀️

🚿 Sometimes it's crying in the shower. 💬 Sometimes it's apologizing first. 🪞 Sometimes it's admitting, "Yep... I was triggered, and I need to figure out why."

That's where freedom starts. 🦋🤍✨

The shadow isn't your enemy. 🌑❤️ It's often just the wounded part of you waiting to be loved instead of judged. 🫂💖

Maybe our greatest spiritual gifts aren't found by becoming someone new... 🌙✨

Maybe they're uncovered when we stop hiding who we've always been. 🌿🤍🕊️

✨💫 Keep trusting the process. Keep choosing healing over hiding. God isn't afraid of your shadows... and maybe it's time we stop being afraid of them too. 🙏❤️✨

... Read moreIn my own experience with shadow work, I've found that truly acknowledging the parts of myself I usually try to ignore—like my fears, anger, and self-doubt—has been both challenging and incredibly liberating. The image of the Jackal from The Shadow card resonates deeply with me, symbolizing empowerment and ambition through facing darkness head-on. One practical approach I've learned is that healing doesn't always require dramatic rituals or mystical experiences; often, it's about small, honest moments of vulnerability. For example, when I caught myself triggered by a past hurt, instead of pushing the feeling away, I paused to ask why it affected me so deeply. That simple acknowledgment helped me untangle layers of old wounds and reconnect with my true emotions. Spiritual growth, in this context, isn’t about striving to become an entirely new person but about honoring the whole story — the light and the dark. When we bring hidden pain into the light with compassion rather than judgment, we lessen its control over us. It's like shedding a heavy cloak that’s kept us weighed down. For anyone hesitant about starting shadow work, I recommend integrating it naturally into daily life: journaling honestly, allowing yourself to cry when overwhelmed, or even admitting to loved ones when you need support. These moments can be gateways to unexpected breakthroughs. Remember, the shadow is not your enemy but a wounded part waiting for love and acceptance. When you choose healing over hiding, you open doors to profound personal growth and empowerment—just like the intention behind The Shadow card with its themes of ambition and self-empowerment. Trusting this process has been a transformative part of my spiritual journey, and it can be for you too.
