The Tattooist of Auschwitz
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Based on a true story, this is an incredible story of a smart, resourceful man who managed to survive an unfathomable situation. Some reviews critique how much Lale and Heather Morris chose to hold back, but I can understand if Lale might have kept certain details private, perhaps to keep the focus on his determination: he was going to find a way to survive and leave Auschwitz. It’s clear he was savvy, courageous, and smart, not only protecting himself but also helping others. I can’t imagine what they went through, but I’m blown away by how they were able to survive.
