Come thrift with me! Last time I shared a post about going to my local Crossroads (a curated secondhand store near me where pricing and item quality is higher) you guys came for me and the pricing of the products lol, so this time I want to a real vintage market to go thrift thing and find better deals! I do want to point out that I don’t buy everything that I find and show you guys haha I just show you what is out there because sometimes I find a lot of cool and unique pieces, even if I think they’re priced too high.
The first things I saw were these really cute vintage crossbody bags with bows on them! The white one was a heart shaped in the blue one was just a simple crossbody. They weren’t in the best condition but for $10 I thought it was a fun pop of color and it leans into the coquette trend that is so popular right now.
Then I found a booth with about 30 pairs of vintage denim ranging in price from $15-$40. The more expensive pairs were obviously Levi’s in great condition. The cheaper jeans were ones with more distressing and less well-known brands. There were a ton to choose from but unfortunately none in my size that were in any washes that I needed.
I found this corduroy blazer for $58. The brand I guess is what made it more expensive. I was not familiar with it but I googled it and I guess it is known for being high quality for vintage shoppers. Overall I love corduroy, and I love styling vintage menswear to be more feminine, but obviously the price put me back from this!
Then I found a real suede jacket for $24! I thought for real suede, this was actually a wonderful price! It’s also a fun pop of color.
Soon after, I found a vintage Journey tee. There were other vintage band tees, but none that were in as great of shape as this one, it was only $20 too! I also like the color block sleeves.
There were a bunch of different vintage bags at this next booth, ranging in price from $10-$30 depending on the amount of embellishment as well as how old they were. I love vintage beaded bags! They’re so fun and especially for events where you can be a bit more flashy.
I was super excited because I found a real leather trenchcoat in this gorgeous red color! It was listed at $50 but the booth was actually having a sale so it was an additional 20% off, meaning it was only $40 for a solid leather trenchcoat. For the material, as well of the condition, I thought this was actually a great deal.
Then I found a whole bunch of denim jackets ranging in price from $20-$30! None were the cut I was looking for, but there were quite a lot, and some even with embroidery details.
Lastly, I found this really cute 70s purse with embroidery all over it and an acrylic clasp! I thought that would be super cute for spring and summer and it was only $15!
