Even if only 7 people like 😅

Being a small creator is so humbling and hilarious at the same time 😭

There are days where I post something I love…

and the post gets 7 likes, 2 comments, and 3 unfollowers 🤣

But the truth?

I don’t create for instant results anymore.

I’m creating because I know the version of me I’m becoming needs consistency, not applause.

And I genuinely believe this:

The right people always show up later.

Consistency is just the part nobody claps for yet.

This is my “post anyway” era.

The era where I show up even if the room feels small.

The era where I keep going because I know I’m meant to grow.

If you’re in this chapter too, I hope you don’t give up.

Everyone starts somewhere. 🤍

What season are YOU in right now?

... Read moreAs a small content creator, it's easy to feel invisible when your posts receive only a handful of likes or even lose followers. The OCR content highlights a daily struggle: "Me posting reels on Instagram every day to get 7 likes and 3 people who unfollow me." This scenario is common and relatable for many creators beginning their journey. What’s important to remember is that social media growth rarely happens overnight. Success is often built on small, consistent efforts rather than instant gratification. The key takeaway from this mindset is to create for growth and improvement, not applause. Staying consistent with posting — even when engagement numbers are low — builds skills, strengthens your voice, and gradually attracts the right audience. Engagement metrics like likes and followers can fluctuate, but they don’t define your value or content quality. Many creators find that the “right people” who genuinely appreciate their work tend to arrive over time. The process involves patience and resilience, as every creator starts somewhere and goes through periods of slow growth. Additionally, this phase is a perfect time for learning and experimentation. Engaging with your small but meaningful community enables authentic connections and feedback, which can inform better content strategies. Use this period to refine your branding, storytelling, and visual style. Importantly, don’t fear losing followers; sometimes, unfollows help tailor your community to those who truly resonate with your message. Reflect on your creator journey as a personal evolution, transforming your passion into something sustainable. Remember, many successful creators looked back at their early days with just a few interactions and saw them as vital stepping stones to their growth. The "post anyway" attitude fosters discipline and long-term momentum. Encourage yourself and others in similar seasons with hashtags like #creatorjourney, #smallcreatorbigdreams, and #growthmindset. Celebrate every small win, continue showing up, and trust that dedication will open doors to new opportunities and audiences. Your persistence today sets the foundation for the community and impact you'll build tomorrow.
