Exploring Yellowstone National Park๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ”๏ธ

Yellowstone this past April was a dream come true! ๐ŸŒฟ I got to visit my sister and her husband, who were working as travel OTs/PTs out West for 3 months, and I had to spontaneously book the trip before they left. We spent two amazing days in the parkโ€”tons of driving but SO much fun! We rolled the windows down, put on a great playlist, and soaked in the unreal sights. ๐Ÿ”๏ธ

We saw so many animalsโ€”bison, mountain goats, wolves, huge jackrabbits, elk, and big horn sheep. Sadly, no moose or bear this time, but that just gives me another reason to go back! ๐Ÿป

We also hiked a few trails, and my absolute favorite was The Grand Prismatic Springโ€”the colors were breathtaking. ๐ŸŒˆ Other highlights included watching Old Faithful erupt, exploring the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Mammoth Hot Springs, Norris Geyser Basin, Hayden Valley, Artist Point, Upper Falls of the Yellowstone River, Roosevelt Arch, and the fascinating Fountain Paint Pots. It was truly the trip of a lifetime! ๐Ÿ’› Yellowstone National Park

... Read moreYellowstone National Park is one of America's most cherished natural sites, known for its diverse wildlife and geothermal features. Located primarily in Wyoming, this national park was the first in the world, established in 1872, and attracts millions of visitors each year. As you explore, you can witness a range of animal species in their natural habitats, including bison and elk. The park is also home to unique geological formations created by the intense heat from the Earth's core. The vibrant colors of the Grand Prismatic Spring, the park's largest hot spring, stand out as one of its most photographed landmarks. For those who enjoy hiking, Yellowstone offers numerous trails suitable for all skill levels. The scenery changes dramatically from lush forests to rugged mountains, providing ample opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing. Don't miss the iconic Old Faithful geyser, known for its predictable eruptions that draw crowds throughout the year. In addition to its natural beauty, the park features historic sites such as the Roosevelt Arch and old military posts, which enrich the visitor experience with a sense of history and preservation. If you're planning a visit, consider the best times for wildlife watching and thermal feature viewing. Pack your essentials, be prepared for changing weather, and most importantly, embrace the stunning landscapes and unique geological phenomena that make Yellowstone a must-see!

how do we not talk about this national park more!?
Ok ok, I know Olympic National Park is fairly well known, but the fact that itโ€™s not in most peopleโ€™s top three national park list is an absolute CRIME! Donโ€™t get me wrong, I love Yellowstone and The Grand Canyon, but you will never get as much biodiversity in one place as Olympic National Park.
