The Weekly Report (6-23-2024)
I can’t believe it’s already Sunday! This week has just flown by! Here’s what I’ve been up to 🥰
TV 📺:
- I finished up the new season of Doctor Who and while it was good, I expected a little more from the finale? Maybe I just need to wait until the next season to see what RTD has planned.
- Still working on Modern Family. Lily is my hero.
- I finished all of Sherlock and it was a painful finish. That last episode is truly abysmal but I had to watch it so that my rewatch was complete.
- The Boys continues to be full of gore and shock value, although this week’s episode was definitely an improvement over last week’s. I feel like now the season is finally going somewhere and we’re seeing character development.
- After hearing my friends and coworkers gushing about it, I started up Bridgerton. It’s kinda like if Downton Abbey and Gossip Girl had a baby. Also, I did not expect things to be so 🌶️SPICY🌶️ that first season 🫣
BOOKS 📚:
- Still working on Dealing With People You Can’t Stand. I’ve definitely learned some good tips but now I just need the confidence to implement them.
MUSIC:
- It’s pretty much a given that Taylor will be here.
- I did try to shake things up a bit at work by playing some 1D, Harry, Jonas Brothers, and One Republic.
- Sabrina Carpenter is also on a heavy rotation (and can you blame me?)
PODCASTS 🎧:
-Nothing new here! What can I say, Mythical puts out some good podcasts!
