Heal on Purpose, you deserve it!
From my own experience, healing is rarely a linear path—especially the kind that involves deep emotional or spiritual wounds. The 7-day healing guide outlined here beautifully emphasizes that healing on purpose means allowing yourself to be vulnerable and honest about your pain while maintaining trust in a higher power. One of the most powerful lessons I learned during my healing journey was admitting the wounds instead of pretending they didn’t exist. This acknowledgment opened the door for real transformation. Feeling your emotions without shame, as described in Day 2, is liberating. Too often, we mistake strong feelings for a lack of faith, but in reality, those feelings affirm our humanity. It’s important to recognize that God, or whatever higher power you believe in, meets you precisely where you are—even if you feel broken or 'in pieces.' Releasing blame can be incredibly freeing and crucial for moving forward; blame tends to keep us stuck in past hurts. Choosing peace over bitterness, as the guide suggests, is a daily decision, not a one-time event. I've found that bitterness is a heavy burden, and letting it go really allows space for healing and growth. Patience is key—Day 6's focus on trusting the process resonated deeply with me. Healing often happens quietly and behind the scenes, and sometimes prayers take time to answer. Yet the encouragement to keep showing up ‘even in pieces’ is empowering. Finally, walking forward with trust—even when questions remain—is a courageous act. Healing doesn’t require perfection or immediate wholeness; it simply requires willingness to move step by step. This approach fosters resilience and helps build lasting peace. If you’re facing wounds you didn’t ask for, remember this process is permission to heal honestly with faith. You don’t have to rush, fix yourself, or have all the answers. Embracing your broken parts and trusting in the journey truly paves the way for healing on purpose.
