How I’ve Been Treating My Vertigo Naturally 🌀

Vertigo is seriously no joke. I used to think it was just “a little dizziness,” but when the whole room starts spinning and you can’t even stand up straight? It’s exhausting — mentally and physically.

I’ve been working on managing it naturally, and here’s what’s helped me feel more balanced:

💧 Staying hydrated (with electrolytes, not just plain water)

🧠 Taking magnesium + B12 to support my nervous system

📵 Cutting screen time + avoiding bright lights

☕ Saying goodbye to caffeine + alcohol (saying no to Starbucks is the hardest part, ngl)

💤 And most importantly — slowing down and truly listening to my body

I’m learning to give myself grace while I heal. If you’re going through this too, I promise you’re not alone — and you will feel steady again. Sending so much love and clarity 💫

... Read moreDealing with vertigo can be challenging, but incorporating some practical strategies into your daily routine can lead to significant improvements. Staying hydrated is crucial, and I found that adding electrolytes to my water made a notable difference in how I felt. Dehydration can indeed exacerbate dizziness, so ensuring you drink enough fluids throughout the day is essential. I also explored dietary supplements that aid in nervous system function. Magnesium and B12 were key in my regimen, providing support that eased my symptoms. Choosing high-quality, non-GMO supplements can enhance the effectiveness of these nutrients. Moreover, I paid attention to my screen usage; too much screen time can contribute to dizziness. Limiting bright lights and taking breaks has allowed me to rest my eyes and reduce discomfort. Perhaps the most difficult part was cutting out caffeine and alcohol, both of which had become staples in my daily routine. Although I missed my morning coffee ritual, avoiding these substances significantly lowered the frequency of my dizzy spells. Listening to your body is another crucial step in managing vertigo. Allowing yourself to rest and recover—whether that means saying no to social events or just taking a day off to recharge—is vital in your healing journey. Remember, you're not alone in this experience; there are resources and support available, and with patience and self-care, you can find new ways to feel steady again.
