Creamy Bacon Pasta 🥓🍝 is simply irresistible!

• 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or pappardelle)​

• 2 whole eggs 🥚​

• 4 egg yolks 🥚​

• 1½ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese 🧀​

• ½ tsp black pepper (adjust to taste) 🌶️​

• 8 oz beef bacon, chopped into small pieces 🥓​

• ½ tsp brown sugar 🍬​

• 2 tsp minced garlic 🧄​

• ½ to ⅔ cup pasta water (reserved after cooking) 💧​

• ⅓ cup green peas (optional) 🥦​

• Salt to taste 🧂​

🍳 Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente according to the package instructions. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining.​

🥄 Prepare the sauce: In a large bowl, whisk together the whole eggs, egg yolks, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and black pepper until smooth. Set aside.​

🔥 Fry the bacon: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the beef bacon, minced garlic, and brown sugar. Fry until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer the cooked bacon to a bowl, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.​

🥣 Mix bacon fat with egg mixture: Carefully pour the hot bacon fat into the bowl with the egg mixture and Parmesan, stirring constantly to combine well.
