Mom and Wife, the story of my life!

Hey Lemon8 fam! So many of you have asked about my 'Who am I' post, and I absolutely love sharing my journey with you all. Being a mom and a wife truly is the story of my life, but it's also so much more than just those two incredible roles. It’s easy to feel like you lose a piece of yourself, or perhaps even miss being just a 'wife' or just you sometimes. That feeling is so real, and I've definitely felt it. For me, rediscovering those parts of myself has been key to my personal growth stories. You might have seen from my image that I’m not just a mom and wife, but also a hunter, a bowler, and a book lover. These aren't just hobbies; they're vital parts of my identity that keep me grounded and energized. For instance, being a hunter connects me with nature, requires focus, and offers a quiet solitude that’s hard to find in a busy household. It's a primal, empowering feeling that reminds me of my strength and resilience. Then there's bowling – a fantastic way to connect with friends, enjoy some friendly competition, and just have fun without the weight of daily responsibilities. It’s a great reminder to let loose and laugh! And of course, my love for books. There’s nothing quite like getting lost in a good story. It’s my ultimate escape, a personal sanctuary where I can learn, dream, and recharge my mind. These activities aren't selfish; they’re essential for me to be the best mom and wife I can be, because a happy, fulfilled individual makes for a happier family. Balancing these passions with my family life isn't always easy, believe me. Some days it feels like a juggling act with too many balls in the air. But I've learned that making time for myself isn't a luxury, it's a necessity. It's about setting boundaries, communicating with my wonderful husband, and sometimes, letting go of the need for perfection.
