75 hard(ish) details in the caption 💛
By now I think we all know the rules of the real 75 hard and I have done that challenge but tbh I don’t really love all the rules of it so I created a little something of my own. I will be starting Monday 3/11 and maybe I can get some of you to join me in it. I will be posting my journey on here so if you would like follow along🫶🏻
here is some explanation of the details
✨Workout for an hour and a half at least 5 times a week- do any type of workout you enjoy and the hour and a half doesn’t need to be all together you can break it up.
✨Walk 2 miles everyday- walking the 2 miles can be part of your hour and a half workout this can be done in the gym or outside whatever you choose
✨Drink a gallon of water a day
✨Eat clean- whatever clean eating means to you, do that. For me it’s eating balanced meals. I will be prioritizing hitting my protein goal and adding more veggies in my diet. I WILL be allowing myself a dessert once a week
✨Read 10 pages or at least 10 mins a day- depending on the type of time you have in a day I don’t want to force myself to read 10 pages of a book everyday.
✨Try something new once a week- step out of your comfort zone and do something new you never done or tried. Examples: a new dish, a new place to walk, a new hobby, a new workout class
✨Keep my room clean- take 10 mins at the end of everyday to organize and put things away in my room
✨Only drinking in social settings but only 3 drinks allowed we aren’t drinking to get drunk during this
✨Take a progress video at the end of every week- to me pictures of progress don’t always do it. You can be posing or sucking it in. The video will be a 360 on your entire body so you can go through and see how much you have changed

When I first heard about the 75 Hard challenge, I was intrigued by the discipline, but some rules felt a bit too rigid for my lifestyle. That’s why I decided to create my own version, the '75 Hard(ish),' focusing on sustainable habits and personal well-being. It’s all about finding that sweet spot where you push yourself, but also allow for flexibility. If you're looking for a personalized approach to a healthier routine, this might be for you! One of the biggest shifts for me in my daily workouts has been embracing the outdoors. While my '75 Hard(ish)' allows for any type of workout, taking my 2-mile walk outside has been a game-changer. Fresh air, natural light, and a change of scenery make it feel less like a chore and more like a refreshing break. I've found that even if part of my 90-minute workout is indoors, getting some steps in outside really boosts my mood and energy. If you're struggling with motivation, try incorporating a '75 hard outdoor workout' into your routine – whether it's a brisk walk, a light jog, or even a park bench workout. Another core component that I’ve really focused on is consistent hydration. The '75 hard gallon of water' rule might seem daunting at first, but it truly makes a difference. I keep a large water bottle with me at all times, refilling it throughout the day. Starting your day with a big glass of water helps kickstart the process. It's amazing how much better you feel when you're properly hydrated – my skin is clearer, I have more energy, and I feel less hungry between meals. It’s one of those simple habits that yields significant results. When it comes to 'clean eating,' my approach is all about balance and what works for my body. For me, this means prioritizing protein and loading up on veggies, while still allowing for a weekly dessert. This flexibility prevents me from feeling deprived and makes the challenge enjoyable rather than restrictive. It’s not about perfection, but about progress and making choices that nourish you. To keep myself accountable and motivated on this 'live hard challenge,' I've found that tracking progress in a meaningful way is key. Instead of just static photos, my weekly progress videos give me a much clearer, more honest view of my transformation. Seeing myself from all angles, week after week, is incredibly motivating. I also keep a simple journal where I jot down my thoughts, how my 'trying new things' activity went, and even how 'keeping my room clean' contributes to my mental clarity. This 'stay motivated journal' helps me reflect on my journey, including the books I'm reading, and celebrate small wins. It’s a holistic approach to a '75 healing challenge' that focuses on overall well-being, not just physical changes. It’s all about finding what makes you feel your best, inside and out.
