my 2024 reading wrap up💞
better late than never right?
looking back on my 2024, it was a rollercoaster to put it simply. I had some really incredible reads and some even better memories spread throughout
it also came with challenges, learning to balance reading and not make it a job? bc tbh this started feeling like a job I dreaded coming to
I think something I’m looking forward to is a blank slate for reading and life.
I think I finished out the year hitting my reading count goal but I also had to adjust that half through the year when I was hit with what I deemed my reading coma (basically I read but nothing stood out or was overly memorable)
I do love that 2024 was a big year of new authors to me & I hope to have many many more in 2025!!

Moreover, the year was rich with various genres that allowed me to explore beyond my usual preferences. For those looking to diversify their reading, titles like 'Only Barbarians' and 'Don't Leave Om Lands' are highly recommended for their unique plots and character development. In addition, I aimed to make reading more about enjoyment and less about meeting a quota. This shift in mindset allowed me to appreciate the stories more deeply and embrace the fluctuating nature of reading habits. As I set my sights on 2025, I am enthusiastic about continuing to discover new authors and reconnecting with the joy of reading, ensuring that each book read will be a memorable journey rather than a chore.
