I weighed in this morning at 201 lbs, which is actually a pound heavier than I thought—but I’m not discouraged. It is what it is. This is where I start, not where I stay.
I went on a slow morning (5am) walk with my husband and took my time really seeing the neighborhoods we usually speed through in a car.
I’m starting small (and slow), and I already have blisters on my heels (pls send your best walking shoe/blister hacks 😅). But I know as my stamina builds, so will my pace and distance.
For now, I’m just proud I moved today. I work remotely and sit in front of a screen all day, so making time for intentional movement feels huge. Extra perk is stopping for coffee on the way home!
