Recommended app for people abroad and have to transfer money back to Thailand 💸
We recommend Revolut. We use this bank almost as a main account. It's pretty comprehensive and can be used to earn salaries like a main account. But today we will talk about features to transfer money back to Thailand.
Advantage
✅ Rate exchange. Very good. And real time.
✅ money in Thailand is fast. Personally, it is often used to transfer money back to Thailand. It usually goes in later that day. Maybe in a few minutes.

✅ Anyone who does not have a Thai account but has a plan to travel to Thailand, we can redeem the baht and use it when traveling to Thailand. You can swipe directly through Revolut card.
The downside
❌ For free plan customers who do not upgrade will redeem for free around €1.000 / month, only Monday - Friday (if you remember correctly, each plan will not be the same).
❌ There is a little transfer back to Thailand fee for the initial plan. If it is Ultra Plan, the transfer is free. No fee.
Overall, I like it very much. I am a free and Ultra customer and feel that he answers the problem well. If anyone does not upgrade, it is considered that we can exchange money Monday-Friday. There is no problem. I can exchange it for less than 1.000 €per month and then transfer it back to Thailand. Or I will transfer it back. The fee is not expensive, it is about 1-2 €, depending on the amount we transfer.

Only those with Resident Permit or Work Permit abroad. Revolut has been discontinued in Thailand, so anyone in Thailand cannot apply (and if the permit expires, the bank will update the document or the account will close).

หลายคนทักมาถามบ่อยว่า Revolut คืออะไร และโอนเงินเข้าไทยทำยังไง เราเล่าแบบประสบการณ์ใช้งานจริงให้ละเอียดขึ้น เผื่อช่วยตัดสินใจได้ง่ายขึ้นค่ะ Revolut คือแอป/บัญชีเงินอิเล็กทรอนิกส์จากต่างประเทศที่เด่นเรื่อง “แลกเงินเรทดี” และ “โอนเงินระหว่างประเทศ” โดยเราใช้รับเงินได้เหมือนบัญชีหลัก (บางประเทศรับเงินเดือนเข้าได้) แล้วค่อยแปลงสกุลเงิน/โอนกลับไทยตามจังหวะเรทที่โอเค วิธีโอนเงินเข้าไทยด้วย Revolut (ภาพรวม) 1) เติมเงิน/รับเงินเข้า Revolut ก่อน (เช่น เงินเดือน หรือโอนเข้าจากบัญชีอื่น) 2) แลกเงินเป็น THB ตอนที่เรทดี (ในแอปจะขึ้นเรทแบบเรียลไทม์) 3) ไปที่เมนูโอนเงิน (Transfers) แล้วเพิ่มผู้รับเป็น “บัญชีธนาคารไทย” ใส่ชื่อ-เลขบัญชี-ธนาคารให้ตรง 4) ตรวจค่าธรรมเนียม/ยอดที่จะถึงปลายทาง แล้วกดยืนยัน Revolut โอนเงินเข้าไทยกี่วัน? จากที่เราใช้ ส่วนใหญ่ “ภายในวันเดียว” และเคยเร็วมากระดับไม่ถึงชั่วโมง (เช่นประมาณ 20–30 นาที) แต่เวลาเข้าจริงอาจต่างกันตามธนาคารปลายทาง วันหยุด/นอกเวลาทำการ และขั้นตอนตรวจสอบความปลอดภัยของระบบค่ะ ถ้าโอนครั้งแรกๆ แนะนำเริ่มด้วยยอดเล็กก่อนเพื่อเช็กเวลาจริงของบัญชีตัวเอง Revolut ใช้ในไทยได้ไหม? ใช้ “ตอนมาไทย” ได้ในแง่ของการรูดจ่าย/ใช้บัตร Revolut และใช้เงินที่แลกเป็นบาทไว้แล้ว (สะดวกมากสำหรับคนมีแพลนเที่ยวไทย) แต่ประเด็นคือ “การสมัคร Revolut ในไทย” ตอนนี้โดยทั่วไปสมัครไม่ได้ เพราะเขายกเลิกให้บริการในไทยไปแล้ว ผู้ที่ใช้ได้มักเป็นคนที่มี Resident/Work Permit ในต่างประเทศและสมัครจากประเทศที่รองรับ เรื่องแลกเงินฟรี 1,000€/เดือน และคำว่า Future amount คืออะไร? แพลนฟรีมักมีโควตาแลกเงินฟรีต่อเดือน (เช่นประมาณ 1,000€) และมักจำกัดช่วงวันจันทร์–ศุกร์ พอเกินโควตาหรือแลกช่วงเสาร์-อาทิตย์อาจมีค่าธรรมเนียมเพิ่มได้ ส่วน Future amount ที่บางคนเห็นในหน้าจอแลกเงิน/โอนเงิน เราเข้าใจว่าเป็น “จำนวนเงินปลายทางโดยประมาณ” ที่ระบบคาดการณ์จากเรทตอนนั้น (เรทแกว่งได้) เลยทำให้ยอดบาทที่เห็นอาจต่างเล็กน้อยก่อนกดยืนยันหรือก่อนรายการเสร็จสมบูรณ์ค่ะ ทิปเล็กๆ จากคนโอนบ่อย - ถ้าไม่อัปเกรดแพลน ให้ทยอยแลกเงินวันธรรมดาไว้ก่อน แล้วค่อยโอนทีเดียวเพื่อลดโอกาสเสียค่าธรรมเนียม - เช็กชื่อบัญชี/เลขบัญชีธนาคารไทยให้ตรง 100% โดยเฉพาะครั้งแรก - ถ้ามีทริปไทย ลองแลก THB เก็บไว้ล่วงหน้า แล้วใช้จ่ายผ่านบัตร จะคุมเรทได้ดีกว่ารอแลกหน้างานค่ะ
