Im an Aspiring makeup artist/ Content Creator

Hey Everyone! Im new to Lemon8! My name is Ruth Carline and I’m starting my makeup influencing/content creating journey.. 😭 if thats what we want to call it. Little things to get to know me:

I’m 19 and self-taught to do makeup

I am Haitian-American

I went on a journey to learn to love myself and one of the things that helped, oddly enough, was putting on makeup. This is because I spent time getting to know my features and I realize makeup does not mask who you are but it just emphasizes the beauty you already have within you! I want to be able to help others with that self-love journey as well 🫶🏿

I also love makeup because to me it is a therapeutic experience and i get to just sit back relax and GLAM!
