"Trump" announces agreement reached with "Iran," approves opening of Strait of Hormuz, ending U.S. maritime blockade
At 4: 29 a.m. (Thailand time), Donald Trump, the President of the United States, posted a message on social media saying that the agreement between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran had been completed, along with congratulations to all parties involved.
Trump indicated that it had approved the opening of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz without charging tolls, and at the same time approved the lifting of the U.S. Navy's maritime blockade measures with immediate effect.
U.S. leaders also invited merchant ships from around the world to resume such shipping routes, stating that "let oil exports continue," reflecting expectations that reaching this agreement would restore energy trade and maritime shipping in the Middle East region.
