"Savings Plus" bonds for sale on the first day. Exhausted in 21 seconds. Open the next round 3-5 this Aug.
On July 31, 69, the deputy prime minister and finance minister, Ekniti Nitiprasat, revealed that a report had been received from the Public Debt Administration (SPM) on the opening of the first day of the sale of government bonds, the first lot through the wallet application. The total amount of 2,000 million baht was sold out in just 21 seconds.
The sale of the 1st "Savings Plus Bond" on the first day (July 31, 2026) through Wallet Som on the "Money Bag" application has attracted a lot of public attention. A total of 1,590 buyers bought the full distribution limit of 2,000 million baht in a single day.
The three-year savings plus bond had 259 buyers with a total value of 217,309,100 baht, and the ten-year savings plus bond had 1,331 buyers with a total value of 1,782,690,900 baht.
The public missed the first round. The Ministry of Finance is set to open the next round on August 3 - 5. A minimum limit of 1,000 baht is allocated in the form of Small Lots First through the Bond Connect Platform to spread the rights to small investors thoroughly and will be available on a monthly basis.
