... Read moreHoly Week is a remarkable time for reflection and spiritual growth, especially when you use a structured Bible reading plan to guide your study. Throughout this week, I found it deeply impactful to meditate on each day’s scripture and the significant events they represent. Starting with Palm Sunday, where Jesus entered Jerusalem triumphantly, reminded me of the fulfillment of prophecy and the hope that His arrival brought to the people. As I moved through Monday to Wednesday readings like Matthew 21:12-22 and Matthew 21:23-32, I reflected on Jesus’ actions in the temple and the challenges from religious leaders. These passages helped me understand His commitment to purity and truth. When I read about Judas’ decision to betray Jesus and the Last Supper in Matthew 26:1-29, it was a solemn reminder of sacrifice and love. Good Friday’s scriptures about the crucifixion brought a profound sense of gratitude for the sacrifice made for humanity’s salvation. Silent Saturday was contemplative, reflecting on Jesus laying in the tomb as described in Matthew 27:62-66. This pause before the Resurrection Sunday readings in Matthew 28 not only celebrated Jesus’ resurrection but renewed my faith and hope. Using the Holy Week timeline not only enriched my Easter experience but also allowed me to focus intentionally on the significance of each day. I recommend setting aside time daily during Holy Week for scripture reading and prayer to deepen your faith journey as we celebrate the resurrection.
