- a Sunday in the life -
Today was a really good day :)
I started my morning with a hot Pilates class at a studio in town that I have been eyeballing every time I pass by and finally booked a class. I was pleasantly surprised because it was only $20 and it was a really good workout! Come to find out the studio hit its 6 month anniversary today. :,-)
After the Pilates class, I went to my favorite local café to get an iced espresso as I usually do on the weekends. As you can tell, i was reeeeeally enjoying it 😅 and while i was doing so, I worked on my grocery list and meal prep ideas while I enjoyed my coffee.
After I had my coffee, I had to use the restroom so I figured I’d go home and knock that out and pick up my dog so we can go on a little adventure before I go grocery shopping 🥰
we returned to a park that we went to last week and really enjoyed, and this week were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon some hidden trails off of the main trail that kept getting more and more interesting! There were multiple wooden tees built along the trail and secluded beaches along the river that I can’t wait to go back to on a warm day for a nice swim 🥹🥹
My budget for grocery shopping was $75 and between all of the organic produce and the $26 pound and a half of salmon , I shouldn’t have recklessly grabbed three things that I did not budget for that brought me up to $110, including some toilet paper that is not photographed here lol
After putting away my groceries, I immediately got to work on meal prep for me and my partner. I wanted to keep it simple so I marinated some salmon, pickled some cucumbers and onions to add to the bowl and this was all done about 40 minutes, including the rice that I made with the bowl , it ended up tasting delicious and I got three meals out of that pound and a half of salmon!

After all of the days adventures, well actually to be honest immediately following Yoga and every event after, I felt extremely exhausted and all I could think about doing was sleeping, so I decided to take advantage of the sun shining in my bedroom and take a little afternoon nap. My dog decided to join me. 💞
