Just peachy 🫶
So glad you're here checking out my latest! You know that feeling after crushing a workout? That's exactly how I'm feeling – just peachy 🫶! Today was another leg day down, and let me tell you, it was a tough one, but so worth it. I've been really focusing on building strength and shaping my glutes lately, and seeing even small progress keeps me motivated. Lately, my leg day routine has been a mix of power and hypertrophy. I typically kick things off with heavy barbell squats, aiming for 3-4 sets of 6-8 reps, really focusing on depth and form. Then, I move onto Romanian deadlifts for those hamstrings and glutes – 3 sets of 10-12 reps. I find that slow, controlled movements really make a difference there. For isolating the glutes, hip thrusts are a non-negotiable! I usually do 3 sets, pushing for as many reps as I can manage with good form. I sprinkle in some walking lunges, leg presses, and calf raises to hit every muscle group, ensuring a well-rounded workout. As a digital creator, it can sometimes be a challenge to balance screen time with gym time, but fitness is such a huge part of my well-being. I try to make sure I get in at least 3-4 strength training sessions a week, with a couple of cardio days thrown in. It's not just about the physical gains; it's about the mental clarity and energy I get from moving my body. Sharing my journey here on Lemon8 really helps too – it's like having a whole community cheering me on! What helps me stay consistent is finding workouts I genuinely enjoy and tracking my progress. I often share quick workouts or healthy meal prep ideas on my stories to inspire others and keep myself accountable. It's a journey, not a destination, and there are days when motivation dips. On those days, I remind myself of how good I feel after a session, or I scroll through my progress photos. Finding that balance between creating content and creating a healthier me is key. What about you? How do you manage to stay active with a busy schedule? I'm always looking for new hacks and tips! Drop them in the comments below! Remember, every workout, no matter how small, is a step closer to your goals. Keep pushing, fam!
