this past weekend i had so much fun!

i started my day with the cutest dogs ever! i went to an event hosted by akc called meet the breeds. i actually went to this event last year for the first time by myself, but this year i decided to go with some company! i went with my younger cousin and we had so much fun. this event has volunteers who bring their own dogs for everyone to meet. you can speak with the owners and ask them anything you’d like about the breed, and get to interact with the dog themselves! i’m really social so i enjoyed getting to know the owners and their favorite things about their dog. getting to meet and pet so many dogs in one day feels like heaven on earth. 🥰 i’m definitely making this a yearly tradition because it’s just too amazing and precious for words. the student tickets cost $20, and during black friday they were $5 off! the event is held at javits center which is very spacious and nice, and isn’t too hard to get to. i walked from penn station.

afterwards, we went and got prince tea house, one of my favorite places ever! they serve many different types of teas, desserts and food. the tea pots are $10 each and provide two to three cups for two people. they taste delicious and are well priced, especially if you’re splitting the cost with someone! the food is so good too, i’ve gotten the katsu chicken brioche before and every time it doesn’t disappoint. the meal is super filling. i also tried some of my cousin’s cod and it was actually really good! i’m not really a seafood person but the taste was great and she really enjoyed it! we were super stuffed and satisfied after eating and drinking our teapots.

lastly, i decided to adopt a dog of my own!! pochacco is my favorite sanrio character ever, and i knew they released a build-a-bear of him recently. i wanted to check if he was there and he was! i was sooooo excited!!!!!!! i love going to build-a-bear, the experience is always so fun and i love participating in the creation of the bear you get, especially since you can pick how soft or firm you want them (i like mine firm). he even had his own special outfit which is so adorable. it was a great way to end the day.

i took all these pictures on my digital cam! it has a lot more settings than my old one from middle school so i thought it would be nice to bring it out and try to figure it out. i honestly think i got a lot of great pics especially of the dogs! i think the pictures of myself are pretty cute too :)
