What I made my fiancé for dinner 🍽️
Lemon garlic campanelle pasta, panko covered, honey glaze salmon bites, baked bread with melted butter & honey.
Boil water in a pot with olive oil & lots of salt, cover on high until you see it boiling.
Pasta:
After the water is boiling add in your pasta.
For boxed pasta cook on medium/high (covered) for 10-11 mins.
For fresh pasta from scratch cook on medium/high for 6 mins.
After it is cooked, keep some of the pasta water and strain your pasta. Set it aside.
Sauce:
in a pan, melt a bit of butter on low heat.
Dice 2 garlic cloves, half a shallot, fresh parsley, 1 lemon and add it all to your pan on medium/low heat until you see a bright or golden color on your veggies.
Add heavy cream, 1 cup of your pasta water, and season with parmesan seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, salt & chili flakes. Let it lightly boil on medium heat.
Once you see it lightly boiling reduce heat to low & add fresh parmesan cheese & Italian blend of cheese. Cover on low for 2 & a half mins. Add in your pasta and give it a stir. Cover until served. Top with fresh parsley.
Salmon:
Cut salmon into cubes (without skin), pat them dry, & season with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, & onion powder. Get a big bowl, add about 2 or 3 eggs, whisk, and put in all your salmon cubes in the egg wash. Make sure very salmon cube gets submerged in your eggs.
In another bowl, add panko breadcrumbs and cover your salmon cubes in the panko breadcrumbs. Once covered in panko breadcrumbs, set the salmon aside on a tray.
You can airy the salmon on 390 for 10 mins or bake in oven on 400 for 15 mins.
Bread:
Get any bread of your choice. Bake on 350 for 10 mins and drizzle melted butter & honey.
