Is Lemon8 the Next TikTok? Let’s Talk

Lemon8 is cute, fresh, and definitely has that “girls’ girls” vibe we love. But let’s be real for a second: it’s not going to replace TikTok anytime soon. Why? One word—money.

When creators look at a platform, the first question they’re asking is, “How do I get paid here?” TikTok has brand deals, creator funds, and a whole economy built into its platform. Lemon8? Not so much. People don’t associate this app with income potential, and until that changes, it’ll remain more of a hobby space than a career-builder.

At the end of the day, content creators follow the bag. If the Mon-Yon ain’t on Lemon8, the masses aren’t flocking either. Facts.
