🌴Koh Tao Gem for Stay! ✨
I stayed at The Dearly for 4 nights, and honestly, it was the perfect home base. I paid 2,340 THB total (breakfast included!). If you’re heading there, here’s the real deal.
✨ Chill Vibes
It’s super relaxed and quiet. My room was in the very last building, which meant zero street noise. I slept so well. Even though it's peaceful, it’s still easy to meet people. The staff are honestly so sweet and helpful, which makes the whole stay feel much better.
🛏️ Rooms
• Room & Cleanliness: The room was clean and cozy, and having housekeeping come by every single day was a huge plus. Shared bathrooms on each floor were kept really tidy, too.
• Daily Needs: They provide towels for you daily, just remember to bring them down to reception to swap them out for fresh ones. They also have hairdryers and basic toiletries available, which is super convenient!
• Breakfast: Simple but satisfying. It’s not a massive buffet, but they have toast, cereal, fruit, and a daily rotation of a hot dish (like fried rice or stir-fried glass noodles) to get your day started.
🍃Things to Heads Up!
• The "Hike": Being in the back building is a bit of a trek with some stairs. Think of it as your free daily cardio! 😅
• Nature Vibes: You are surrounded by nature here, so you might spot a few geckos or bugs, just part of the island experience!
📍 Prime Location & Transport
The location is actually really prime. It’s super close to 7-Eleven and a great Japanese restaurant, and not far from Freedom Beach. It’s definitely walkable to these spots, but I personally preferred riding a scooter. 🛵
Note: They don’t have bike rentals on-site, but I highly recommend A&P Rent nearby, where the owner there is incredibly kind.
If you want a clean, chill spot that makes exploring Koh Tao easy without breaking the bank, I’d totally stay at The Dearly again. 💯
