Vegan for 6 months…Would NOT Recommend

I visited a vegan restaurant and everything had such a weird texture. I COULD NOT enjoy the food at all. This is the Vegan Chicken and Waffles. 2/10…would NOT recommend.

I was Vegan/Vegetarian for about 6 months and here is why I will never do it again.

°Eating Less meat caused me to eat way too many carbs. So I overdosed on carbs and still gained weight🙄

°I was never satisfied with any meal. I always felt deprived..which lead me to (see 1st point above)

°I went to a vegan diet because of health issues but that lifestyle caused more health issues

°My iron and ferritin were at an all time LOW. I felt horrible all the time…even worse than before. We (especially women) don’t know how much our iron affects our overall health. Sometimes I thought I was losing my mind

°ALL of my hair came out. I literally only have peach fuzz in the top. It comes out in clumps every time I wash and/or comb it. I’m still in the process of trying to grow it again. I’m able to do my own hair so I have covered it quite well with a nice protective style.

°So, all of this has had a negative effect on my confidence. I don’t walk with my head as high as before. I don’t want to go out as much. BUT I AM ON MY WAY TO AN EVEN BETTER VERSION OF MYSELF than I’ve ever seen. It will require some work but I will get there🤎
