Jesus resucita a Lazaro

Yet, Jesus deliberately delays His arrival for two days, allowing Lazarus to die and be buried for four days. This might seem confusing, but as we see, it was all part of a greater plan to demonstrate God's glory. When Jesus finally arrives in Bethany, He's met by a grieving Martha, who expresses her belief that if Jesus had been there, Lazarus would not have died. Jesus's response to her is one of the most powerful declarations in scripture: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." This statement isn't just about bringing Lazarus back; it's about Jesus's ultimate victory over death itself, offering eternal life to all who believe. This promise resonates deeply with me, providing immense comfort. He then goes to the tomb, a cave with a stone rolled across the entrance. Despite Martha's concern about the smell (after four days, naturally!), Jesus instructs them to roll the stone away. He then looks up to heaven and prays, thanking the Father, so that those standing by would believe that the Father had sent Him. And then, with a loud voice, He commands, "Lazarus, come forth!" Can you even imagine the awe in that moment? And just like that, Lazarus, still bound in grave clothes, emerges from the tomb! It's an undeniable, public miracle that stunned everyone present. The power displayed when Jesus raises Lazarus is simply breathtaking. It affirmed Jesus's divine authority, His power over life and death, and His deep love for His friends. For me, this story isn't just a historical event; it's a living testament to the fact that no situation is too dire for God, and that even in moments of seemingly utter defeat, hope, and new life are possible through faith in Jesus. It truly strengthens my belief that with Jesus, anything is possible, and that His love can conquer all.
