Becoming a Proverbs 31 Woman
A Bible Study Journey of Growth, Grace, and Godly Womanhood
Introduction: Her Name Was Hannah
Hannah sat at her kitchen table early in the morning, Bible open, coffee cooling beside her. Life felt busy, noisy, and sometimes overwhelming. She loved God, but she often wondered:
“Am I really becoming the woman God desires me to be?”
As she turned the pages, her eyes rested on Proverbs 31. She had heard it quoted many times, sometimes as an impossible standard. But this morning felt different. Instead of pressure, she felt an invitation.
Not to be perfect but to be faithful.
This study follows Hannah’s journey, and in it, we find our own.
1. Her Foundation: Fear of the Lord
Hannah realized the Proverbs 31 woman didn’t start with works she started with reverence for God.
Scripture (KJV)
Proverbs 31:30
“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.”
Story Reflection

She understood that fearing the Lord meant trusting Him, obeying Him, and placing Him above culture, opinions, and even her own emotions.
