Get to know me pt.1

Hi everyone!! I’m excited to be making my first post and officially becoming a part of the Lemon8 community. I love seeing all the women on here sharing and supporting one another. It really is refreshing to see!

A little about me:

Nanny- I am a caregiver to two adorable little girls and truly enjoy what I do. It is important to me to be a safe space and good role model to children! I used to be an English teacher in Colombia but I came back to the states to visit some family and ended getting stuck…but that’s a story for another day lol! I love the one-on-one interaction and the bond I get to create with the children as well as the family.

Self-care Girlie: I absolutely love taking care of myself and learning new tips and tricks! I have pcos which can really suck at times but it has taught me not to play games when it comes to my health and happiness. I look forward to my Self Care Sundays every week just so that I can fully dedicate myself to taking care of myself and relaxing in my femininity! 💆🏾‍♀️💅🏾🧖🏾‍♀️💄💋

Avid Book Reader- I read everything!! Lately I have been more into self help books but I love a good sci-fantasy or paranormal romance novel. Right now I am reading Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz!

As I embark on this new chapter with Lemon8, I am eager to interact with fellow users who share similar passions. Self-care has become a central focus in my life, especially as I navigate the challenges of having PCOS. Incorporating wellness routines, particularly on Self Care Sundays, has been integral to my journey. I’ll explore various self-care strategies, such as mindfulness practices and healthy lifestyle tips, to enhance well-being. Reading plays a significant role in my daily life as well. I enjoy immersing myself in self-help literature along with my favorite sci-fi and paranormal romance genres. Books open new worlds and ideas, and I look forward to sharing recommendations and discussing favorites with the community. I encourage everyone to celebrate their individuality, whether that's through sharing personal stories of self-improvement, health management, or lifestyle changes. Don’t hesitate to reach out!
