Another week, another opportunity to show up for myself. 🤍

This week wasn’t about perfection—it was about consistency.

💪 What went right:

• Stayed consistent with my workouts.

• Prioritized strength training and recovery.

• Continued working toward my protein goals.

• Made rest and stress management a priority.

• Focused on building healthy habits instead of chasing quick results.

🌿 What I want to improve next week:

• Increase my water intake.

• Continue showing up, even on the days I don’t feel motivated.

One thing I’m learning on this body recomposition journey is that progress isn’t built from perfect weeks. It’s built from small choices repeated over and over again.

Based on my week 2 routine, focusing on achievable daily habits rather than drastic changes helps maintain motivation. One helpful approach is setting clear, measurable goals like a daily protein target of 130 grams, hydration of 80 ounces, and daily steps ranging from 10,000 to 13,000. These targets create a structure that supports muscle growth and fat loss. Similarly, structured workouts such as full body sculpt and lower body strength days spaced throughout the week improve muscle tone while allowing adequate recovery. Recovery is often underestimated but essential. Prioritizing 7-9 hours of sleep each night, incorporating stretching, and mindful rest days ensure the body repairs and adapts effectively. Stress management also plays a critical role; simple activities like meditation or light walks can boost mental well-being and prevent burnout. From my experience, increasing water intake significantly improved energy and workout performance. Staying consistent with protein intake also helped satiate hunger and support muscle maintenance. Importantly, showing up even on low-motivation days builds resilience. This mindset shift from chasing rapid results to focusing on sustainable habits has made each week feel like progress. If you’re on a similar fitness journey, I encourage setting realistic weekly goals, tracking your nutrition closely, and embracing rest as much as workouts.
