It is a local gourmet that represents Kure!!
This cold noodle is characterized by the exquisite combination of chewy flat noodles and spicy, sweet and sour soup based on chicken paitan. Generally, char siu, pickled shrimp, boiled egg and cucumber are used as toppings.

~ How to eat ~
・ After eating about half of it, it is standard to enjoy the change of taste with the original seasoning called "vinegar mustard."

私も呉冷麺を食べた経験がありますが、その独特な味わいが忘れられません。特に、ピリ辛で甘酸っぱい鶏白湯スープはコクがありながらもさっぱりしていて、暑い季節でも箸が進む一品でした。 麺は平打ちの 強いコシが特徴で、冷麺には珍しい食感が楽しめます。トッピングのチャーシューやエビの酢漬けがスープと相性抜群で、ゆで卵やきゅうりも味と食感のバランスを整えてくれます。 さらに、食べ進めてから付属の酢からしを加えると味が引き締まり、まったく違ったおいしさに変化するため、2度楽しめるのが嬉しいポイントです。黒酢をかけるとまたまろやかな味わいになり、その日の気分で味変を楽しめるのも魅力的。 呉では呉龍や珍来軒という専門店が有名で、どちらも地元では早々に売り切れてしまうことが多いので、訪れる際は開店直後の時間帯を狙うと確実です。営業時間が短いことや夜営業がない点には注意が必要ですが、その分、提供される料理はじっくり味わいたい逸品ばかりです。 私の経験からすると、呉冷麺を初めて食べる方にはスープと麺のバランスが特に印象に残るので、是非じっくり味わいながら食べてみてほしいです。広島旅行の際には外せないグルメとして強くおすすめしたい一品ですね。
