You matter.
“No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.” – Robin Williams
Keep dreaming big! Your words matter. Your ideas matter. You matter.
You are making a difference.
I remember a time when I struggled to truly believe that 'you alone are enough.' It felt like I constantly needed external validation, whether from friends, family, or even strangers online. We've all heard that powerful sentiment, often attributed to the incredible Maya Angelou, that 'you alone are enough, you have nothing to prove to anybody.' For a long time, hearing it was one thing, but feeling it in my bones? That was a whole different journey. It’s easy to get caught up in what others think. The words captured in one of my images, 'Are you letting someone matter more than your own?' really hit home for me. There were so many moments I was giving away my power, letting someone else's opinions dictate my mood or my next step. But through a lot of reflection and self-work, I started to understand what Robin Williams meant when he said, 'No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.' This isn't just about grand, global changes; it’s about the change within *you*. Your own words, your own ideas, about yourself, are the most powerful. The truth is, 'People will talk.' That's another powerful reminder from my notes. You don't have to believe them. Why should someone else's words about you matter if your own words and ideas don't? This really shifted my perspective. I started to nurture my 'GOOD VIBES' internally, focusing on what *I* believed about myself, rather than constantly seeking approval. It's about that deep-seated belief that 'You matter.' So, how do you get there? How do you truly embrace the idea that you are enough? For me, it started with small steps: Acknowledge Your Inner Critic: We all have that voice. Instead of fighting it, acknowledge it, and then gently remind it of your worth. Set Boundaries: Learn to say no. Protect your energy. This is a huge step in valuing yourself. Celebrate Small Wins: Every step forward, no matter how tiny, reinforces your capability and self-worth. Pursue Your Passions: 'Keep dreaming big!' as my notes remind me. When you engage in what truly lights you up, you naturally feel more fulfilled and capable. Your ideas matter, and pursuing them is an act of self-love. Surround Yourself with Believers: Find your tribe, those who uplift you and reflect your inherent worth back to you. Remember, 'You are making a difference' just by being authentically you and striving to live your best life. It might not always feel like it, especially on tough days, but every positive ripple you create, every moment you show up for yourself, contributes to a bigger picture. 'Be the change in your own life today.' Start by believing in the profound truth that you alone are enough. You don't need to prove your worth; it's intrinsic. Embrace it, live it, and watch how your world transforms.
