Discernment Over Emotions
The spirit of discernment is different from your emotions.
Emotions give you what you want.
The spirit of discernment gives you clarity for what you need.
So today, pray for clarity(discernment), truth, and strength from God. He will always give you the answer you need.
The answer God gives you may not be what you want hear. But when we focus on seeking God, then our selfish desires will not matter anymore. It’s what He wants for us that matters.
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

In my own experience, distinguishing between emotions and spiritual discernment has been a transformative journey. Journaling thoughts and feelings can also help distinguish transient emotions from lasting clarity. Over time, this practice strengthens the spirit of discernment and builds resilience in faith. Remember, discernment is not just about receiving answers but about aligning yourself with God’s truth and wisdom, which brings peace beyond what emotions can provide.
