🔵 "Content Spam"?

Content spam is usually created from a variety of accounts to post on the user's Facebook feed with a repetitive style of content. Accounts that release content spam are "not eligible to make money" and may reduce their visibility.

Most recently, Facebook introduced the guidelines for handling the issue as follows:

Facebook started testing a new feature where users can also refresh comments in posts. If a user sees an unrelated comment to the post, it can tap on the "down arrow" icon ⬇️ at the bottom of the respective comment.

In addition, the Moderation Assist has the feature to automatically detect and hide comments from people who may impersonate others and allow creators to report this problem in the comments.

Facebook recommends avoiding spam caps, meaning that posts with "too long caps" are not related to the content of the post, including "putting in # a lot of hashtags." Content with long caps will cause the system to "reduce feed" and will not be eligible to make money.

However, Facebook has also introduced guidelines for reducing contending spam by reducing the reach of user accounts sharing contending spam, and attempting to delete user accounts involved in spamming engagement peaks, and impersonating other people as well.
