My Skoolie Pets! 🐾🐍
My pets are such a huge part of my life and I didn’t want to leave them behind when I moved into a school bus!
- Cassie is my calico and she was my 11th birthday present 🎁 She’s been an indoor cat her whole life so it’s definitely going to be an adjustment to get her outside for play time and maybe even some hikes! 🥾🌲For now she’s been doing a great job living in the bus and I think she’s loving the adventure and new views everywhere we go 🗺️
- Maui was tricky. He’s about 4 feet long now and I didn’t want to put him in a smaller terrarium and sacrifice his space because of my choice and lifestyle. I planned the entire bus layout around his 48inch long terrarium and made sure the outlets sitting above it had their own circuit so his heat lamp could be on all the time💡I also cut out some cushions to absorb some of the bumpiness on drives. He’s also doing an amazing job and I love having him with me! 🐍
I ’ve been wanting a puppy for some time, but as the three of us are still getting used to life on the road such a big commitment will have to wait! 🐶
A lot of people think that having animals in a small space is cruel but I think it’s just the opposite. My cat is super social and hates being left at home alone and now she’s with me all the time. My snake has a space plenty big enough for him and I honestly don’t think he knows what’s happening most of the time 😂 He does love to pop his head out of his caves whenever we stop as if checking out where we are. That being said, I want to make my pets as comfortable as possible so any advice or recommended products I will gladly accept! 💕
