This year will mark my fourth annual Summerween picnic, and I honestly can’t wait! 🧺🎃🍉👻🌲

It’s so weird (but wonderful) seeing Summerween and Slasher Summer blow up as a massive trend now, with corporations even jumping on board to make stuff for it. Just a few short years ago, it really wasn’t a thing unless you were a fellow Gravity Falls lover or a Halloween enthusiast trying to make the summer heat a bit more bearable.. both of which apply to me, haha! Seeing so many people embrace it now is amazing, and I love it so much.

For anyone who doesn’t know yet, the whole idea comes from Gravity Falls. In the show, the town loves Halloween so much they literally invented a second one to celebrate in the summer. It officially lands on the second to last Friday in June, which is usually June 22nd or 23rd.

It’s kind of expanded now into celebrating the entire month of June, which I am absolutely obsessed with. I have so many spooky, exciting plans for this summer and I can't wait to continue checking them off!🪦✨🔪🖤
