Do not tie your work to the work.
Whenever we accidentally "seize the result as us" and "seize ourselves as the result," then unconsciously, suffering begins to form quietly.
The result is success, failure.
Appreciation or criticism is all that happens after an action, and there are countless factors beyond our control.
But when the mind takes these things and defines their own worth,
The self is also tied to the inevitable unsettling.
When the results are good, we may feel valuable.
When the results are not as expected, we may feel that we have failed.
And when the results do not appear, fear and anxiety begin to penetrate.
Fear of not being good enough.
Worry about how it will be viewed.
A hesitation, a doubt on their own values and abilities.
This is not the result of direct action, but of the "self" being too tightly bound to the "result of action," so that the mind is constantly waiting, evaluating and judging itself, unable to rest, unable to lay, and unable to truly live with the present.
When we believe that we are the result, every step is full of pressure.
When we believe that our value depends on results, every action misses fear.
And when fear is the base of life, suffering is not a novelty.
But if we gradually learn to see that action is action and that the result is the result, and that "we" are not diminished or enhanced by it, our relationship with life will begin to change, we will continue to do things fully, responsibly and intentionally, but without carrying the results of our ego.
When the results are not seized as identity.
The fear will gradually ease.
Concerns are gradually sparse.
And peace will start to have space appear.
Not because life is easier.
But because the heart no longer has to prove its own worth through results.
จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว ผมเคยผ่านช่วงเวลาที่รู้สึกว่าตัวเองมีค่าหรือล้มเหลวตามผลลัพธ์ที่มี ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเรื่องงานหรือความสัมพันธ์ ทำให้รู้สึกว่ามีแรงกดดันสูงและจิตใจไม่สงบ จนกระทั่งได้เรียนรู้ว่าการแยกแยะระหว่าง "ตัวเอง" กับ "ผลลัพธ์" เป็นสิ่งสำคัญ การเข้าใจว่าผลลัพธ์นั้นเกิดจากหลายปัจจัยที่เราไม่สามารถควบคุมได้ ช่วยให้เราปล่อยวางความกลัวว่าจะไม่ดีพอ และลดความกังวลเรื่องการถูกวิจารณ์ การปล่อยใจให้ว่างจากการพิสูจน์คุณค่าในตนเองผ่านผลลัพธ์ ทำให้ชีวิตมีความสุขมากขึ้นและสามารถอยู่กับปัจจุบันได้อย่างแท้จริง ผมจึงอยากแนะนำว่า การฝึกฝนจิตใจให้ยอมรับว่าตัวตนของเราไม่ได้ผูกติดกับผลของการกระทำ ไม่ใช่เรื่องง่าย แต่เป็นกระบวนการที่คุ้มค่า ลองเริ่มจากการตั้งใจทำงานด้วยความรับผิดชอบและความตั้งใจเต็มที่ โดยไม่ต้องกังวลว่าผลลัพธ์จะเป็นอย่างไร จากนั้นค่อย ๆ สังเกตความรู้สึกของตนเองและให้กำลังใจใจตัวเองเหมือนเพื่อนที่รัก ผมเองยังคงเรียนรู้และปฏิบัติเรื่องนี้อย่างต่อเนื่อง และเห็นว่าเมื่อไม่ยึดตัวตนไว้กับผลลัพธ์ ชีวิตจะมีความสงบ ความกลัวจะลดลง และสามารถใช้ชีวิตได้เต็มที่มากขึ้นโดยไม่ต้องเหนื่อยกับการพิสูจน์ตัวเองในทุกก้าวย่าง
