How I Do School:

with a baby !!

i’m just getting back into the groove of school and it’s been quite difficult to manage my time and maintain my grades.

here are some tips that i use to help me:

📌- I utilize nap time soooo much, i will race to finish notes, and during nap time i avoid doing timed exams/quizzes

📌- i have a difficult time over working myself, so when he’s awake i see it as taking a break from school

📌- unfortunately, i lose sleep completing schoolwork. it would be no different for me if i didn’t have a baby

📌- screen time isn’t always my favorite, but limited screen time where he can watch curious george, is where i take advantage of my opportunity to get work done if i’m pressed on time

Consider using your baby’s nap times to tackle assignments and prepare notes, ensuring that you stay on top of your work. Remember to take breaks when your child is awake; this can also help prevent burnout during your studies. If you find yourself working late into the night, try to prioritize your sleep needs to maintain your health and focus. Alongside structured schedules, explore educational shows like Curious George for engaging screen time that allows you to catch up on your tasks. Embracing these practices will empower you to navigate both your academic and parenting responsibilities more effectively.
