Migraine Relief 🫶
I have done blood work and head scans, and we can not pinpoint the cause for my migraines. I just learned to deal with it. Here are some things I've learned along the way.
1. Keep track of your diet triggers. Sometimes, sugar or meat can be my trigger.
2. Exercise helps reduce the stiffness of the neck. Neck stiffness can contribute to Tension Headaches/Migraines.
3. Poor sleep
4. STRESS! Stress is a major contributor to migraines.
5. Grinding teeth at night/jaw tension. Check with your dentist to see if you have teeth grinding damage. Dental problems can be contributors to migraines.
6. Cool showers and chilled treats can help reduce pain.
7. Scent therapy can help BUT when you start out use it after your headache/Migraine starts to lessen. I used to roll on peppermint when I was having migraines and then conditioned myself to associate peppermint with pain. Now, if I use it, I do it after the pain so I can associate it with RELIEF rather than PAIN.
Stay blessed 🙌
