I'd been seeing it everywhere – all over TikTok and my friends raving about it – so on my last coffee run, I decided to finally give in to the hype. And let me tell you, my taste buds were ready for an adventure! Walking into 7 Brew, I knew exactly what I wanted. The barista was super friendly and confirmed that yes, the Orange Push Pop is definitely one of their most requested 'secret menu' or custom drinks. For those who haven't heard of it, it's essentially a creamy, citrusy concoction designed to mimic the nostalgic flavor of those classic orange and cream popsicles we all loved as kids. My first sip was... pure joy! It's incredibly creamy, with a vibrant burst of orange flavor that's perfectly balanced by a sweet vanilla undertone. It’s not overly tart like some orange drinks can be, nor is it sickeningly sweet. It really hit that sweet spot of creamy, dreamy, and refreshing. The texture is smooth and velvety, making it feel like a real treat. I could definitely taste the inspiration from the Push Pop popsicle – that iconic blend of bright orange sherbet and creamy vanilla ice cream. It brought back so many childhood memories! I’ve heard of people adding a shot of espresso for a 'creamsicle latte' vibe, or even a different flavored syrup for a unique twist. For me, the classic combination was perfect for my first time trying it. It’s a fantastic option if you’re looking for a non-coffee drink that still feels special and indulgent. Is it worth the hype? Absolutely, in my opinion! It's a fun, delicious, and genuinely unique drink that stands out from your usual coffee shop offerings. It's especially perfect for a warm day when you want something refreshing but still satisfyingly sweet.
