May was an eventful month for reading! I managed to dive into 12 books across various formats. Starting with physical books, I enjoyed 'A Fate Inked in Blood' and 'The Return of Ellie Black.' My Kindle experience was marked by 'The Perfect Son' and 'The Teacher,' both gripping reads that kept me on my toes. When it comes to audiobooks, I indulged in 8 captivating stories, including 'Port Mortuary' and 'The Scarpetta Factor,' which are penned by the well-known Patricia Cornwell. However, while these books are popular, they didn't quite resonate with me as much as I had hoped. On the other hand, 'Flicker In the Dark' and 'The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo' emerged as my top picks for the month, highlighting the diversity of genres I explored. I also discovered some powerful themes in my reading list, especially in psychological thrillers and gripping tales of human connection. Genres like suspense and drama have provided me with fresh insights into contemporary storytelling, and I hope to share these experiences with fellow book lovers. Whether you're looking for the next book to sink your teeth into or simply want to discuss the latest literary trends, reading offers an endless journey that is deeply rewarding.
