On July 16, 69, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued an order appointing a Civil Service Keeper in place of the Director General of the Department for the Promotion of Local Government (IAEA) by Mr. Nathin Chanyanwegul, Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, signing Ministry of Home Affairs Order No. 1545 / 2569 on the appointment of a Civil Service Keeper in place of the Director General of the Department for the Promotion of Local Government.

The order states that the Ministry of Home Affairs previously issued Order No. 1563 / 2569, dated June 23, 2026, giving Mr. Thirutm Superior Result to serve as the Director General of the Department for the Promotion of Local Governance on an interim basis from June 24, 2026, until the order changes.

However, to suit the mission responsibilities of the Department for the Promotion of Local Government, it relies on the authority under section 61 of the Public Administration Regulation Act 1991 to appoint Mr. Niratne Pong Permanent Right, Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Interior, Office of the Permanent Secretary for the Interior, as the Government Keeper instead of the Director General of the Department for the Promotion of Local Government.

This order is effective from July 17, 2026 onwards until the change order is signed on July 16, 2026.
