Rent Transparency in North ATX

2 bedroom 2 bath in Austin Texas 5 min drive from the Domain and Arboretum.

I live in a complex off of the expressway, in a gated community.

$1300 a month base. $20 pet rent. $20-$30 for water. Electricity varies. I have two pets but I only pay for my cat because my dog is registered as an ESA.

I found this apartment when I was looking for apartments near our job at the Domain, I just typed in apartments and google and filtered them by price range, rooms and pet friendly. Then from there I just opened a few tabs with ones I liked how they looked and having more than 3 star reviews. This was one of the options and we got a tour and fell in love! Esp because at the time they had a special and the manager was great.

It’s a great location, more pros than cons. They also have plenty of floor plans to chose from! And I have a yard for my dog now and for hangouts with friends! Very good neighborhood and I love being close to everything while being tucked away :)

The availability of different floor plans, such as townhome options, offers flexibility in living arrangements. For anyone considering moving to Austin, paying attention to leasing agreements is crucial, especially in terms of pet policies and utilities. For instance, our complex charges a pet rent and has varying rates for utilities, but overall, the living experience has proven to be worthwhile. If you’re a pet owner, make sure to highlight the availability of dog parks and pet-friendly amenities when touring potential apartments. Additionally, many apartments are strategically located near shopping and dining areas, making it easy to enjoy the best of Austin's vibrant culture. Being close to work and recreational spots can significantly enhance your quality of life. Overall, when choosing an apartment, prioritize what matters most to you, whether it's location, amenities, or community vibe.
