Let’s Get Real..
Not long ago I was diagnosed with scoliosis induced by the heavy training I did in the service. When I first read the diagnosis the first thing that came to mind was my kiddo. The fear I had not knowing if I’d be able to play with her for the years to come etc… it was very scary at first. I’ll say this, always talk to your doctor and ask questions.
Fortunately I was recommended a brace, to help with the pain and help support my back as a whole.
Does it hurt? Yes, some days are better than others but it could definitely be worse. I’m grateful it’s not an extreme case.
Is it curable ? I’m not sure but I won’t lose hope. I always strive to take the best care of my body. So this is me hoping for the best.
If you or someone close to you struggles with this I see you, and you’re not alone💞 hoping for painless days to come 🙏🏽
