Strawberry Shortcake Baked Oats 🍓

If you like strawberries and you like oats, you’ll like this. This was meant to be breakfast… but it tastes like a treat. Would you eat this for breakfast or dessert?”

What you need

• Rolled or quick oats (anyone works)

• milk

• honey (do you, according to your taste buds )

• chia seeds

• baking powder

• vanilla extract

• Pinch of salt

• frozen or fresh strawberries (chopped if large)

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180°C

2. In a bowl, mix oats, milk, honey, chia seeds, baking powder, vanilla, and salt.

Let it sit for 5 minutes so the chia thickens the mixture.

3. Pour into the baking dish. Add strawberries on top and gently press them in.

4. Bake for 30–35 minutes until set around the edges and soft in the middle.

5. Rest for 5–10 minutes before eating. Sweeten with extra honey if needed.

Optional but elite

• Yoghurt or cream on top

• Extra honey drizzle

• Warm strawberry compote spooned over
